1. Agreement

By creating an account or using ShuleMatrix ("the Platform"), your school ("Customer", "you") agrees to these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a school, you confirm you have authority to do so.

2. The service

ShuleMatrix provides school management software covering admissions, examinations, CBC competency tracking, library, laboratory, store, transport, hostel, fee management, communications and analytics, delivered as a subscription (SaaS) accessed over the internet.

3. Subscription & billing

• Plans are billed per school, per term, as described on our pricing page.
• Payment is due before the start of each billing term unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. School responsibilities

• Ensuring the accuracy of data entered into the Platform
• Managing user accounts and access levels for your own staff
• Obtaining any necessary parental/guardian consent for data collected about students
• Notifying us promptly of any suspected unauthorised access

5. Our responsibilities

• Maintaining reasonable uptime and taking regular backups
• Keeping your school's data logically isolated from other schools
• Providing support channels as described on our support page

6. Data ownership

Your school retains ownership of all data entered into the Platform. On termination, you may request an export of your data within a reasonable period, after which it may be deleted from our systems.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Platform to store or transmit unlawful content, attempt to access another school's data, or interfere with the Platform's normal operation.

Either party may terminate the subscription at the end of a billing term with notice as described in your plan. We may suspend access immediately in cases of non-payment or a breach of these Terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We will notify schools of material changes to these Terms before they take effect.
